Langley International Festival this weekend (Aug. 22 and 23) at 7888 200 St, Langley, right at the corner of 80th Avenue, beside the Langley Events Centre.
Hours are 10am – 8:00 pm on Saturday, and 10:00 am – 6:00 pm on Sunday.

The Greater Vancouver Zoo is celebrating their 45 year anniversary – that is pretty darn amazing!!! Share in the celebration – all activities will be taking place in the main picnic area which is in the centre of the Zoo across from the baboons and jaguar.
ACTIVITIES ARE FROM 10 AM – 3 PM – August 22nd
Fun stuff includes face painting, finger painting & coloring contest, scavenger hunt, bouncy castle, obstacle course, and a giant slide. Children performers “Flying Rita” with Suzanne & Dale from 11 – 12 pm!! And BBQ starts at 11:30 am!! Visit http://gvzoo.com/ for more information.
Invite your friends, bring your lunch, and spend the afternoon making something at the Makers Room!
These one-day projects are fun to do and will look great in your room! Or, you can give them away as a unique gift! Each workshop starts at 11:00 and runs until 2:00ish (or until the project is complete). Cost is $35 (includes all supplies).

You’ll paint the board in your choice of colour, create a pattern and hammer in the nails, then weave yarn (you choose the colour) to create a striking image!
